Our vision with Shape is to help shape families to become happy and whole with the high quality services rendered through our remarkable team. Our goal is to provide customer services that cultivates our communities to no longer survive, but thrive in all areas of life.
As a result of our programs children gain the skills to:
Overcome learning barriers with newfound behavior modifications
Develop and build social skills for positive peer-to-peer relationships
Understand their own identity and value for oneself
Our Story
Shapes was founded by a single-mother of three exuberant children, Jaylen, Kayla, and Jacobfrom Houston, Texas. She was also reared by a single-mother of four girls who is originally froma small town in Mississippi. Krystal not only witnessed the hardships her and her siblings facedgrowing up, but she also experienced her own. Although parenting never came with instructions,her new found knowledge of child development as a bachelors of science major led her toadopting new practices with her own children which also fueled her passion for early childhood education.
In 2017, God gave Krystal the elaborate vision for Shape which is designed to help form,fashion, and improve the lives of their customers by demonstrating the love of God He hasshown us. God’s Son lived a sacrificial life to pave the way for you and I. Therefore our aim is toinfluence individuals with a less than perfect past to live out their God-given potential. Therebyexemplifying this same love towards others.
Shape’s inclusive services includes our initial summer camp activities (2020) power packed inour virtual enrichment after school program, Renew. Renew is designed to restore life in orrebuild and repair to give a new appearance to individuals who may be in need of a fresh start inlife. Together we can make a difference!
